What we preached as ' house church' is simple a New Testament Church, family church, relational church and biblical church. The idea is to be faithful to the pattern and directions of the original Apostles in our church's ministry and life.

This one form of churches (House Church) have existed since Pentecost. It is where Believers join in their faith worldwide. We call it "house church." The name implies, it is a church that meets in a house or home. It was the first and only form of church found in the New Testament or in the world until the time of the emperor Constantine (with one or two archeological exceptions). Between the years A.D. 313 and 321, Constantine made Christianity the official state religion, gave tax benefits for donated buildings, put clergy on his payroll and claimed Sunday as the official day of worship. A tax-exempt, property-holding organization with paid clergy replaced the simple form of house church. The modern was born and politics was brought into the church. But, the house church exists today. It has outlived the trend to remove it.
A simple definition of a house church is a group of believers who meet in a home to function as a New Testament church. They focus on the basics of ministry; the Apostle ministry in the early church; prayer, fellowship, learning and evangelism among a smaller group of people. All are encouraged to participate, use their spiritual gifts and share life together in community that extends beyond meeting times. The pattern of a house church takes us back to New Testament biblical teachings, practice and this church spiritual function in the world. It is the house church that gives the opportunity to exercise essentials of faith in a true atmosphere of the bible order of the church first presented. Its premium is upon the true Christian's message and challenges the vain and off times unnecessary forms, emphasis, order and pattern in particularly the western world churches with it's buildings, clergy and elaborate programs. |

The Bible provide not only the teachings and principles of faith, but the Bible demands practice, actions and deeds. The modern Church we see today struggle with theological significance in the distinctive order, pattern and traditions of the apostolic church. We must realized, that there must be knowledge and training about the early church. This early church was very community minded. To fully understanding the true life of New Testament church, we must share the life of this church which includes such distinct items as the pattern, the structure, the order, the teaching, such as celebrating the Lord's Supper often, even feet washing, door to door ministry, etc. The emphasis of this church was full fellowship, interrelationship, interactive in church services. The churches were all decision-making by the local leadership with consensus of all; pastors and elders providing spiritual guidance to congregations and cooperating in a body of churches, networking in autonomous house churches. Each church body of ministry is separate in its call, burden and outreach for Christ. The Apostolic ministry and tradition, found exclusively in the pages the New Testament church writing (Acts of the Apostles); this church from the very beginning expresses and practice the true work of the ministry as left to them by their Master.

"Join us in the Study of the 'House Church' and perhaps you will establish a 'house church' and return to this basic of the New Testament ministry." |
